The Room Of The Future 2nd Edition

This is not a catalogue. It is a collection of working documents and short fictions made while developing The Room of the Future for the Museum of the Home, and while learning what it became after it opened. Many of these pages are first drafts: notes, fragments, partial backstories, and proposals that helped us build a world. They do not always agree with each other, and they do not always match what ended up in the room. That is intentional, and also inevitable. The room is the definitive version, but it is also an evolving one. This second edition adds Process and Outcome sections, including photographs taken in February 2026. If the early pages show the room forming in our heads, these new sections show it forming in public, after its opening in July 2024.
