Cushion Cover Quilted Floral

Made of upcycled remnant of deck chair 100% yarn dyed striped cotton fabrics. Machine sewn and quilted on a longarm machine, in a studio in Highbury London, and hand finished by Sarah Layish, aka The Highbury Hexie. 

Sarah makes quilts of all sizes from upcycled materials. Each quilt and cushion cover is unique and one of a kind.

Sarah finds a balance between using recycled and repurposed fabric and wadding, and enjoying and supporting the incredible creativity of fabric designers. She let’s the fabric lead the way and use a pattern that will respect and amplify the unique quality of each textile design.
