Aoueillès derives its name from Ling’s studio in rural South West France where the artwork for the piece was painted.
Born in Calcutta in 1966, Tanya Ling is an artist whose career has traversed both the Fashion Industry and Art World. She studied at Central Saint Martin’s and worked in Paris as a designer (for Christian Lacroix and then for Dorothee Bis) before returning to London to start a contemporary art gallery with her husband William Ling. Ling has shown in London with the Mayor Gallery (2018) and Paul Stolper (2019) and Harper’s, NY (2021).
All rugs are produced by CF Editions with the relevant institution estate or artist, closely involved in the whole process to ensure that the end result is as faithful to the original work as possible, the same as producing a limited edition print.
UK delivery is £55. Delivery outside the UK is on a quotation basis, please email shop@museumofthehome.org.uk.
